Managing Partner & Chairman

Dominique Reber

Dominique Reber is Managing Partner of Strategic Board Advisors. From 2012 to 2025 he was Equity Partner at Hirzel.Neef.Schmid.Konsulenten. There he combined institutional experience with strategic reputation work.

He guided a federally owned industrial group through its unbundling and a major energy company through the 2022 energy crisis, led sector coalitions in the financial industry to successful conclusions and built the communications office for a reigning princely house. In 2010 he accompanied the climate negotiations in Copenhagen as a member of the Federal Council delegation.

Before that he sat on the executive board of economiesuisse, where he was responsible for political work in infrastructure, energy and the environment; earlier he was head of communications at Sunrise, head of public affairs at Swisscom and worked for eBay International in Europe – after starting his career in journalism. He co-founded the global MOSAIC Network, an international network for public affairs and political strategy, chairs the Club Politique de Berne, is a Forum Einstein holder and serves as strategic adviser to the Swiss Green Economy Symposium.

Ronald Zemp

Ronald Zemp is Partner, Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of Strategic Board Advisors. Over the last 15+ years he has founded more than 10 companies, invested in more than 30 and exited more than 5. He is founder and investor of RZ Capital AG, a fully self-funded venture capital and private equity investment company, and co-founder of further companies.

He took part in building MoneyPark, Switzerland’s largest independent mortgage broker, later sold to Helvetia. He founded notime AG, a platform for same-day deliveries; in 2018 Swiss Post acquired the majority stake and in 2020 the entire company. He also founded Delos Analytica, an AI-based platform for public affairs and corporate communications.

He has been a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Zurich for over ten years and served as its president from 2023 to 2025. He studied Strategy and International Management (SIM) at the University of St. Gallen (M.A. HSG) and holds an MBA from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.

Dr. Victor Schmid

Dr. Victor Schmid is Senior Advisor and Board Member of Strategic Board Advisors. For over forty years he has advised listed companies, members of government, international organisations and foundations on strategic communication and reputation management.

In 1994 he founded Viscoma Consulting AG with offices in Zug and Bern. In 1996 he co-founded Hirzel.Neef.Schmid.Konsulenten; since his departure he is once again fully dedicated to Viscoma Consulting AG.

Having accompanied more than one hundred crisis situations, he knows from experience how crises can not only be overcome but used to strengthen the reputation of companies and individuals. This includes training and coaching executives in their personal presence.
